South Derbyshire District Cricket

South Derbyshire Cricket Development Group supports and co-ordinates the development of junior cricket in schools and clubs in the area.

Our Objectives are:-

bulletHelp and establish school/club links
bulletAssist senior clubs set up junior sections
bulletPromote cricket through organised and structured programmes
bulletIncrease the number of officials and coaches
bulletOffer support where needed to existing and future provision
bulletWork closely with Derbyshire Cricket Board on it's development structure and initiatives

All clubs and schools in South Derbyshire are invited to attend planning meetings (which are held no more than four times a year), and attend or send juniors to the award schemes organised.

We aim to give every junior the opportunity to play and enjoy cricket.
