Derbyshire Disabled CC Record First Win

Derbyshire Disabled CC recorded their first win ever when they beat Cheshire on Sunday at Denby CC. Derbyshire bowled Cheshire out for 145 in 38.1 overs and scored 146-7 in 36 overs. This was after losing their first 4 wickets with only 4 runs being scored!

It was an excellent team performance with everyone making a contribution. All 5 bowlers bowled well and were supported in the field with some good catches and a stumping. Scott Matthews scored 107 not out helped with some good support from the lower order.

They earned 20 points from the game and (after only 1 game) are joint top of their League as Shropshire beat Cheshire the week before.

We congratulate them and wish them continued success throughout the season.
