Funding for Coaches

Coach Education Funding for Derbyshire Coaches

 

The Derbyshire Cricket Board operates a Coach Bursary Fund to support candidates who achieve full competency on any of the below:

  • Level 2 Coaching Children Certificate
  • Level 2 Coaching Young People & Adults Certificate
  • ECB CPD Workshops
  • Diploma in Coaching CricketThis funding is available in the form of a subsidy up to a maximum level of 50% of the course cost.

The level of Bursary awarded will be at the discretion of the Bursary panel which will meet three times per year to consider applications subject to the following criteria:

  • Coaches going on their first official coaching course will be considered as a priority for funding or support based on their main ‘Club’ base being affiliated to and located in Derbyshire. 
  • Coaches already qualified and in the system will be considered as a priority for funding or support based on their Governing Body affiliation or their main working practice geographically within Derbyshire.
  • Individuals will need to be members of the ECB Coaches Association – Derbyshire

As a candidate you may apply for a subsidy towards your course fee by completing the application form below and returning to the DCB Office before the end of course delivery. Completion of an application form does not guarantee a subsidy being awarded.
