Conversion Course (ECB Level 1 to UKCC2)

The DCB are planning to run an ECB Conversion Course in the new Year.

The ECB Conversion Course is designed for coaches wanting to update their existing ECB Level 1 Qualification to the UKCC2.  The following is an overview of the Conversion course. 

The ECB Conversion Course is designed for coaches wishing to update their existing ECB Level 1 qualification.  By attending the Conversion Course coaches will have an opportunity to learn the latest developments relevant to their coaching.  By achieving this certification coaches can align their knowledge and practice benefitting players by ensuring that coaching is consistent and as up to date as possible.  The course is designed for coaches who are actively coaching and want to update their existing qualification.

The prerequisites required to attend the Conversion Course are:

 
bulletA minimum qualification of ECB Level 1 or Coaching Award
bulletTo be actively coaching within a club or school environment.  For assessment purposes, coaches will need access to players for 6 x 30 minute sessions during and post course.

   Course Structure  

 
bullet4 x 3 hour modules      
bulletAssessment Day which follows the same format as the UKCC2 qualification (maximum 6 hours)
