Introducing DCB Ltds' Directors

Chairman – Chris Hartley

Hartley brings invaluable experience from previous roles in Education and a longstanding involvement in junior cricket in a number of areas. His main role will be to provide strategic direction for the development of the Junior game throughout the County supporting parts of the Player Pathway (junior club cricket, girls and women’s cricket), Coaches Association, Sport in Education and Junior Leagues to ensure more young players have an opportunity to play and progress in cricket.

HR Director - Bob Blenkinsop bob blenkinsop

Bob is actively involved at Duffield Cricket Club, as a Committee member, Junior Coordinator, U15 Team Manager, and very occasional player. He is also an ECB Level 2 Coach and member of the Coaches Association. His involvement in grassroots sport also extends to football, and he is currently Vice Chairman of a local junior football club with around 400 members.Bob’s professional background is in Human Resources, and he spent over 25 years working in senior roles with Ford Motor Company and Rolls-Royce, before establishing an independent consultancy.

Bob joined the DCB board in May 2016, and has lead board responsibilities for Human Resources.

Finance Director – Dave Jepson

Jepson has been involved in cricket in Derbyshire in many capacities over the last 38 years. His experience includes numerous club roles, being a member of the Derbyshire County Cricket League Executive Committee and involvement in Disability cricket. His role will be to provide strategic direction for the development of senior cricket in the county.

Director - Dave Bull

Dave has been involved with cricket in Derbyshire since 1994. His many roles at Club, District and DCB level are driven by a desire to help make the game more accessible and more enjoyable for those wish to take part. His contribution to cricket has been recognised on two occasions when he was awarded the Service to Sport award by South Derbyshire District Council in 2014 and the ECB when he won the first ever outstanding achievement award at the ECB OSCA's in 2003 for leading Elvaston Cricket Club into becoming the first Cricket Club in the County to be Clubmark Accredited.
